The Blooming Prairie Foundation
The Blooming Prairie Foundation is pleased to begin accepting applications for additional Board members.
Funded through the sale of the Blooming Prairie Warehouse Cooperative, the Foundation works to promote greater awareness and availability of organic and natural products and cooperative development throughout the United States, with an emphasis on the 12 Midwestern states once served by the original cooperative.
Individuals interested in being considered to serve on the Blooming Prairie Foundation Board of Directors are requested to complete and return the application to the Foundation by February 1st, 2010.

The Foundation, a self-sustaining non-profit organization, was created by the members of the Blooming Prairie Warehouse Cooperative with the purpose of educating and enlightening buying clubs, cooperatives and privately owned businesses.
In addition the Blooming Prairie Foundation makes grants to non-profit, charitable organizations that conduct any of the following activities:
- Developmental, research, and educational efforts in the organic industry and the cooperative community.
- The development of organic and natural products.
- Cooperative development in the natural products industry.
Grants are not made to individuals. To be considered for a grant, your organization should follow the guidelines on the "Grants" page.
